These entities do not operate in "Silos" – as such, we are much more flexible in accommodating our customer's needs. Our services include elevator maintenance, modernization, testing, inspections, repairs and new installations of all vertical transportation equipment including: commercial passenger and freight elevators, LULA elevators, escalators, handicapped accessibility lifts, stairway lifts, vertical reciprocating conveyors, and dumbwaiters.
Priority Elevator, based out of Richmond, Virginia, was purchased in the Summer of 2025 by Southern Elevator. This merger was one of purpose, as Priority Elevator shared the same values in quality maintenance and customer relationships as Southern, and Priority Elevator has earned a stellar reputation in the State of Virginia where it primarily operates. Priority Elevator is registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Class ‘A’ Elevator Contractor and employs elevator technicians who are members in Local #51 and #52 of the IEUC. This partnership with Priority Elevator has positioned Southern Elevator Company as one of the largest, if not the largest, Regional Union Elevator Company in the Mid-Atlantic.
Priority Elevator (W & H Resources) is registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Class ‘A’ Elevator Contractor and has credit accounts with all major elevator supply companies throughout the United States.
